AIR is Coming Out of Stealth

Today, with enormous excitement, we're announcing that AIR is coming out of stealth. 2026 is the year enterprises went all-in on coding agents. It's also the year they realized they were deploying them without a seatbelt. AIR builds that seatbelt: a firewall for the context AI agents operate in.

Today, we’re announcing that AIR is coming out of stealth.
And I’ve never been more excited.

Enterprises looking for AI with seatbelts.

We’re entering a new era where using AI agents will become as elementary to knowledge work as reading, writing, and using Excel. Agents will become a fundamental part of how enterprises build, operate, and make decisions - unlocking entirely new levels of speed, productivity, and what’s possible.

Over the past year, we brought together a group of incredibly talented people who want to win - and, as a Sequoia-backed company, built AIR around one mission: protecting AI agents.

It’s clear that the world’s largest organizations are changing rapidly. 2026 is the year of coding agents - Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and everything around them. Enterprises have started adopting these tools at an unprecedented pace.

But they’re also afraid to deploy them without a seatbelt - and rightfully so.

They’re worried employees will use Claude with sensitive company data through personal accounts. They’re worried about untrusted harnesses, unapproved open-weight models, and a growing ecosystem of tools and add-ons they don’t fully control.

The world’s largest enterprises want to become AI-native. But they have a lot to lose if they get it wrong.

Our team

Over the past year, we built an incredibly strong team. At a time when talent density seems to be going down, I believe we built one of the highest concentrations of talent in the country.

Elite engineers. Outstanding researchers. Forward-looking infrastructure. A solutions team our customers trust. A product team that consistently turns complex problems into simple, powerful products.
We built a unique brand that tells our story clearly and precisely. We formed partnerships with cloud providers, AI labs, and some of the biggest names in cybersecurity.

And recently, Ryan Kinsley joined us - Costco’s and Walt Disney’s ex-CISO, a two-time Fortune 50 CISO. Ryan knows what great looks like and, more importantly, what enterprises actually need today.
Over the past year, we also built a base of great customers, learned from them, and sharpened the mission of AIR.
And of course, we have incredible investors who guide us, support us, challenge us, and help shape AIR alongside us.

We’re coming out of stealth because the foundation is ready.
The investors. The team. The product. The customers. The brand.
These are the foundations of this company. They’re strong, and they give me the confidence to enter this race - and the belief that we’re going to win it.

Our vision

AIR protects the context of AI agents. Our goal is simple: make sure the next prompt is secure. We’re building a seatbelt for agents - a firewall that filters untrusted inputs before they reach the agent’s context.
The threats reaching an agent come from the outside: unvetted add-ons, untrusted websites, and dynamic internal enterprise data.
An agent is only as safe as its context.
Our thesis is simple: the best way to protect agent's context is to filter that content before it reaches the agent’s context. Or in other words - make sure that you’re drinking clean water.
Some protection happens at runtime. But our key advantage is pre-runtime protection - filtering threats before they ever reach the agent.
That’s our moat.
In short: a firewall for AI agents - protecting their context. across endpoint, cloud, and SaaS.

Well positioned for the big wave

I also want to thank the funds who believed in us and invested in AIR - Sequoia, Greenoaks, Swish, Netz, and TTP. The angels who backed us early, our customers who teach us so much every day, and our incredible team for putting in the work and believing in what we’re building.
The backing of our investors and the strength of the people around this company give us a strong foundation for what comes next.

Today, the entire AI security market is less than $100M in annual revenue. Combined.
I believe that by the end of 2027, it will be more than $1B. We are before the big wave.
Right now, every player in AI security is standing on a surfboard in the ocean, trying to figure out exactly where the wave is going to break.

AIR is entering that wave clear-eyed, strong, and well positioned.

We’re here to catch it.

Let’s go.

MCPJacking: 155 Hijackable MCPs Discovered Live in the Official MCP Marketplace

We discovered 155 hijackable MCPs in the official worldwide marketplace used by millions of agents. Each relied on an expired domain, so we simply registered them, published our own MCPs and gained full remote prompt execution on every agent that trusted them. Even official marketplaces carry this supply chain risk, and any enterprise using MCPs is exposed. Enterprises on Air Marketplace are not exposed to MCPjacking.
